# AI agent

> Your SEO assistant in a chat. Ask Spyro in plain English to research keywords, find content gaps, suggest topics, check your rankings, read your Search Console, or even draft an article.

The **AI agent** is a chat assistant that does your SEO research for you. Just ask a
question in plain English, and Spyro figures out the answer using your real data -
your website, your rankings, your Search Console, and live search results. No
filters or technical settings to fiddle with - you simply ask.

## Why use it

* **Get answers fast.** Skip the spreadsheets and tools - ask a question and get a
  clear answer.
* **Grounded in your data.** Spyro uses your actual website and rankings, not
  guesses.
* **One place for everything.** Research keywords, spot opportunities, and even
  start an article without leaving the chat.

## What you can ask

Here are some examples to get you started:

* "Find me ten easy keywords about *cold brew coffee*."
* "What topics do my competitors cover that I don't?"
* "Which of my pages are close to ranking on page one?"
* "How is my website doing in Google Search Console this month?"
* "Suggest blog topics for next month and add them to my calendar."
* "Draft an article about *best travel backpacks*."

## How to use it

    on your website - a handy starting point.

    Spyro shows its work as it researches, then gives you a clear answer. Some
    results appear as cards - for example, topic ideas you can send straight to the
    [AI writer](/docs/product/writer).

  <Step title="Give feedback">
    Use the thumbs up or thumbs down on any answer to tell Spyro what was helpful.
    Your feedback is saved.

## What to expect

Spyro answers conversationally, and you can keep the conversation going with
follow-up questions. Topic ideas and other suggestions often show up as cards you
can act on right away. You can also reopen past chats to pick up where you left off.

The AI agent uses your monthly AI credits each time it does research for you. Your
plan sets how many credits you get - see

## Tips

* Be specific - "ten easy keywords about *cold brew coffee* for beginners" beats
  "give me keywords."
* Ask follow-ups to refine an answer instead of starting over.
* When the agent suggests good topics, send them to your
  [content calendar](/docs/product/calendar) so they're ready to write.
