# Content settings

> Control how Spyro writes and illustrates your articles - your brand voice, article style, image look, brand colors, auto-publish, and where you publish.

**Content settings** is where you tell Spyro how you want your articles to sound and
look. Set these once and every article you create will match your brand - the right
voice, the right style, and images in a look you choose. You also connect the
website where Spyro publishes for you.

## Why use it

* **Stay on-brand.** Every article uses your voice, your colors, and a consistent
  image style.
* **Set it and forget it.** Choose your preferences once and they apply to all
  future articles.
* **Publish automatically.** Connect your website and let Spyro post for you.

## What you can set

    Spyro learns a voice from your own website - its summary, tone, audience, and
    how formal it sounds - so articles read like you, not a generic robot. You can
    refresh it any time to match your latest content.

    Pick the default writing style for new articles.

  <Step title="Image style">
    Choose one of several preset looks for your article images - for example flat
    vector, hand-drawn ink, isometric 3D, editorial photo, minimal geometric,
    risograph, paper cut, or technical blueprint. Every image is created in that
    style.

  <Step title="Brand colors">
    Spyro picks up your brand colors from your website and uses them to tint your
    images and accents. Adjust them if you'd like.

  <Step title="Auto-publish">
    Turn this on and finished articles publish to your connected website
    automatically, instead of waiting for you to push them.

    Connect where you want Spyro to publish (see below).

## Where you can publish

Spyro can publish your finished articles to:

* **WordPress (self-hosted)** - your own WordPress website.
* **WordPress.com** - a site hosted on WordPress.com.
* **Webhooks** - send your article to another system using a webhook URL.

  **Shopify** is shown as **coming soon** and is not available yet. The options you
  can connect today are WordPress (self-hosted), WordPress.com, and Webhooks.

## What to expect

Once your voice, style, images, and colors are set, you don't have to think about
them again - every new article follows them. Each publishing connection shows
whether it's connected and a short history of recent posts, so you can see at a
glance that everything is working.

## Tips

* Set your voice and image style **before** you write your first article so it comes
  out right the first time.
* Refresh your brand voice whenever your website changes meaningfully.
* Turn on auto-publish only once you're happy with how your articles look - until
  then, review each one before it goes live.
